Mhyde Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Having a benefit crappie tournament in June. Here is the Flyer.
Members streamer Posted April 5, 2018 Members Posted April 5, 2018 I’ll probably fish this tournament if I can make it over as it’s for a good cause and Stockton doesn’t have many crappie tournaments. I feel there is a need for more crappie/walleye tournaments on Stockton. Having said that, I’m wondering if no one has responded yet due to the lower payout. I’m not trying to stir anything up here or criticize, I’m just observing that no one has replied to this post yet. There are a bunch of local crappie fisherman that follow this forum. Hope you get a great turnout and I’m looking forward to tournament. Thanks for the invite.
Mhyde Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 Hope to have you! I really feel we will meet the 20 boats, I have had a really good response via Facebook on it. This will be my first time putting the promoter/director hat on. When I was approached about doing this I couldn't say no!
dan hufferd Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 I hope you do well. I will try to make. The only hitch I can see is making it over to the church. Not that I care about going to church, I just wish that you could enter on the lake the day of. Yikes 2 hr registration meeting, correct?

The 2-hour registration time is more less for me to make sure I can get everything done that we can. I've never been on this side of the tournament only on the competitor side so I don't know what really to expect I definitely hope not for the last two hours but I gave myself 2 hours just to make sure. With that said this is one of our monthly events that we do with our men in our congregation so they/we decided they would like to have a short speaker and also have somebody come in and tell the participants more about the charity that the money is being raised for. My realistic is to have everything done by 8:30.

When I was approached about doing this I couldn't say no! That’s good to hear! I looked at my calendar and it looks like I’ll be able to make it, already found a buddy to be my partner also. I hope there’s a ton of boats that show up, it’d be nice to meet a bunch of the local crappie fisherman.
Members streamer Posted June 1, 2018 Members Posted June 1, 2018 Haven’t heard anything about this in a while. Has anything changed?
