Ketchup Posted May 20, 2018 Author Posted May 20, 2018 Gravel/fist sized rock banks, but i fished some pea gravel banks also that produced as well. The fish are pretty scattered and can be caught alot of areas. Those 30 degree banks seem to be my most productive. Secondary pount have been the ticket. Most fish caught are in less than 6'. Hunter91 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 My son and I were in that tourney out of Masters Saturday. I think out of 30 boats all but 4 teams weighed a limit. We caught 30-40 bass all day on everything from topwater to jigs. We had two nice walleyes for consolation prizes:) They are biting good. Sounds like you have a great honey hole!
Ketchup Posted May 21, 2018 Author Posted May 21, 2018 I was surprised to see every spot in the lot full when i got there. That place is usually a ghost town. Sounds like fish were biting for everyone. How did you guys finish? TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Hunter91 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 We were in the middle of the pack with 10 and change. Very few big fish all in the 2 lb range. Lots of fun though!
Members Bassin' fool Posted May 21, 2018 Members Posted May 21, 2018 I knew they would be biting good at Stockton this weekend, while I’m at Tablerock showing all of Taney county how NOT to catch fish! 😂 Daryk Campbell Sr and Ketchup 1 1
Unimog Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 I was wondering if the hot streak was still going on. Too wet to farm, I should come back down.
Ketchup Posted May 22, 2018 Author Posted May 22, 2018 Headed out this evening and will let ya know. Dont see things changing much right away as they need to feast to put weight back on. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
