Been reading post on this site since march. Learned a ton from you guys talked to a few of you directly. thank you. Been looking and I see that it is quite warm down there. What are the water temps looking like around Shell knob??? what stage are the fish at? are they spawning? done spawning? How is the top water action. I have read about a little bit of it but has it fully turned on yet??? Any info would be appreciated. Bill Babler
If you have been monitering the goings on here, I can't believe you would ask that question. There is more info. here than you can shake a stick at. Good luck. If you have a specific question, that has not been commented on in the last week, fire away. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
J.E.
Water is in the mid 60's depending upon what part of the lake you're on. Main lake swimming grubs for smallies, creeks some fish are still on beds and some are pre-span chasing shad. Find white bass busting shad and largemouth are close by. Spooks, chug bugs, and red fins are working when the topwater bite is on. Jigs, grubs, and shakey heads in other areas.
