Members Flatlander__ Posted June 25, 2018 Members Posted June 25, 2018 I have a retired friend that is wanting to try his hand at catching some walleye on Stockton and wondering if anyone had any advice on it. I told him to try trolling crankbaits but I hardly ever fish Stockton either so I really don't know. He has a boat and use to fish Table Rock years ago but quit for awhile and now is getting back into fishing. Thanks for any input. If I fished only to capture fish, my fishing trips would have ended long ago. Zane Grey
zarraspook Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Type WALLEYE in the search box ( in the upper right hand of this page ) and check mark "this forum" .. You will get ALL walleye info for this forum.... Ketchup, BilletHead and Flatlander__ 2 1 "Look up OPTIMIST in the dictionary - there is a picture of a fishing boat being launched"
rps Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 I have written two articles for this forum about fishing Ozark lakes for walleye. Although I targeted Table Rock, these apply to Stockton as well. I hope these help him. http://www.ozarkanglers.com/table-rock/trolling-for-walleye/ http://www.ozarkanglers.com/white-river-walleye-on-worm-harness/ Flatlander__ and Hunter75 1 1

Hunter75 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 read the articles posted by RPS, him and his articles both helped me a lot. To me its almost as much fun tying up the crawler harnesses as it is to catch a fish on one. Its a lot more satisfying to catch a nice walleye on a rig you thought up and tied up yourself.
