Line?

Ok I have a nice Spinning Outfit I bought just to use on the Niangua River by the house. I had 2 pound test on but changed it to 6 pound test.

I'm thinking of just changing that one Reel to 2 pound test just for Mainly Trout. My wife asked why waste Line considering I catch Trout with 6 pound Test?

She don't understand should change Line at lest once during Regular Fishing Season.

I have never used any less than 4 lb on any of my spinning reels with great success.  I do love green tinted lines over clear or flourescent.

The only reason I use finer stuff on Fly Tippets is to match the size of the hook eyelet.
