Float time?

Does anyone know how far and long a float it would be from charity to hico?

Grew up near there and floated this stretch several times. I would guess there isn't enough water to float now. We used to put in half way between charity and hico and that was a good days float. I don't think the put in half way between is public now. Lot of fish to be caught on that stretch to be sure.

Thanks for the info, i live about 10 minutes from charity, ive never spent much time there but i was hoping to find a close spot to do an easy kayak float

My Grandma sold the property to MDC in Charity after my Grandpa passed.

The river has been running normal so I would say it's shallow up that way.
