Dan the fisherman Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 The last time I was on the water was 3 weeks ago. I was catching fish off points early morning and late evenings. Since I got back from vacation I really don’t know where to start. I would think points early then channel swings during the day? That’s always been pretty good during the dog days of summer. Has anyone been fishing the channel swings mid day? Also sorry for the lack of reports. Most days I’ve got to fish would end by noon, then I’d come home and switch boats and wakeboard/tube with the kids the rest of the day. By the time I’d get home I’d be exhausted and wouldn’t post anything. My boys are 10 and 7 now and demand lake time lol. Anyways. Good luck out there fellas and stay safe. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
J-Doc Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 No reason to apologize. You do you. People need to learn to find them. That's the hard part about Beaver, it's clearly a pattern lake and people become too focused on finding s hot spot or bait and expecting magical results. I have found I am better off being me and doing what I do vs putting my stock in a report. I've been burned many times on "they were biting this bigtime this morning at X location". I take off work, go ther that day, and zero. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Dan the fisherman Posted July 8, 2018 Author Posted July 8, 2018 I think I’ll hit the water Tuesday. I made the mistake of trying yesterday and couldn’t even launch. I’ll do what I normally do during the summer and hit those swings. I’ll post back afterwards
