Bill Babler Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 I was going to run in there, but there were two Lund type boats fishing the flat roll off at the mouth and i just didn't want to run by them. Lake is pretty big this time of the year and I went down stream. Did talk to one of the Lund crew at the ramp and they said they had 3 short bass and 1 short walleye trolling deep divers slow on that flat. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

That flat has several good bumps and the rock fence I posted about last summer. The hump after you go left then right can be good too. Especially at vertical spoon time. The section next up river, after you turn back left and need to turn back right, is excellent at several different times of the year. I am not a jerker (though I would like to learn) but I suspect either the trees or the steep submerged timber on the other side would be good.
