Flysmallie Posted May 24, 2007 Author Posted May 24, 2007 Ronnie, any advice on having a teenage girl? I'm only about 6 months into this teenage girl stuff and apparently my advice sucks. It's different to say the least. But she's a good kid and has really good friends. I'm pretty sure dating is going to push me over the edge.
WebFreeman Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 I think having good friends is a key. I took my 5-year-old to the father/daughter dance in Republic. The dress shopping was horrifying and we old spent $25 at Target. It was like seeing a glimpse of the future. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
Flysmallie Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 The dress shopping was horrifying and we old spent $25 at Target. See this is where the problem starts. When they turn 13 they are no longer allowed to wear clothes from Target or such. I'm pretty sure it's a state law. It has to be name brand and it has to come from a mall. P.S. Don't ever agree to take your teenage daughter shopping at the mall by yourself. You ever see those guys that look like someone has left them for dead on one of those benches? It can happen to you.

The "old pharts'" waiting area... Been there, done that... Enjoy the scenery... Especially in the summertime.... WebFreeman Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Terry, unless you get caught. You'll pay for that longer than the dress.... “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
