Vinegar cobbler

OK all you fellow hillbillies... help me out here. Have any of you ever had vinegar cobbler? Anybody got a great recipe for it? I've got a couple I'm going to try out and I'll let you know if one of them works out for me.

My ex-mother-in-law made the best, but don't think she would share her recipe with me now...

Tonight, I'm trying this one:

2 1/2 c water

3/4 c vinegar

2 c sugar

1/4 c cornstarch

1 tsp nutmeg

Pie crust

Boil first five until syrupy. Pie crust used just like any cobbler. Bake 375 for 30-35 min.

I'll let you know if it's any good...

I couldn't find the one we used to make, but this is close, as I remember it.

2 c. water

1 c. sugar

1/2 c. white vinegar

1/2 c. butter

1/2 tsp. vanilla

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
