I've got a couple I'm going to try out and I'll let you know if one of them works out for me. My ex-mother-in-law made the best, but don't think she would share her recipe with me now... Tonight, I'm trying this one: 2 1/2 c water 3/4 c vinegar 2 c sugar 1/4 c cornstarch 1 tsp nutmeg Pie crust Boil first five until syrupy. Pie crust used just like any cobbler. Bake 375 for 30-35 min. I'll let you know if it's any good... Wayne SW/MO Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I couldn't find the one we used to make, but this is close, as I remember it. 2 c. water 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. white vinegar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
