Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 24, 2019 Root Admin Posted June 24, 2019 Wow - that's a lot of water for the Elk!! That's more than they're running out of Beaver Lake.

The cities of Neosho, Anderson, and Seneca were all shut down due to major flooding issues with numerous water rescues. It rained most of the day and at one point, we received 5.5 inches in 2 hrs. Expand And I mean literally just over the hill, the watershed divides around Avoca/Garfield. Radar showed some of that drainage getting more than we did so COE is likely to dump more- Chief Grey Bear 1
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 24, 2019 Root Admin Posted June 24, 2019 Looks like Beaver increased flood gates discharge at 10 am. Tailwater level rose by 2 feet. But Beaver is not rising now.
sfiser Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 crested at 1131.20. That has to be close to a record if its not THE record. That's 1.2 feet over top of flood pool.
