Do you know if spirit river is selling that coated wire? I couldn't find it on their web site. Did find the V tube that Tippet posted. But apparently Spirit River doesn't list their dealers. Used that fly at Roaring River today successfully.

So gents, I was trying to weed through all the posts about the legality....

Are we saying it legal in Mo in all fly waters? But not legal in the one fly areas in Ark?

From Lilley's post it sounded like it didn't pass as a fly because it has two hooks. Therefore, cutting off one of the hooks should make it a legal Fly in Missouri.

On the other hand, it doesn't really seem like a fly in the classic sense to me. I probably wouldn't use it for the same reason I don't shuffle - it would just feel wrong and cheapen the experience. But that is just my opinion.
