crappie help!?

Going up Friday the 30th to try and find some crappie for my birthday anyone catching them?

The wife and I have been doing fairly well until the cool weather hit. Last two trips no crappie, not even a small one. I wish I had the answer. Lately though they have been mostly around standing timber. Good Luck.

Thanks for the Help! using minnows or jigs? Heard some guys did pretty good with minnows last week around standing timber said they weren't really on brush piles yet have you noticed that?

I always use minnows. Yes to the standing timer and a definite no to the brush piles. It won't be long until that changes though.
