Chief Grey Bear Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Came across the Elk at Hwy 43 and it was running clear today. High but clear. So was Buffalo creek. I was surprised. From Friday morning to Saturday afternoon I got 3 inches at my place. I just knew they would both be muddy. But I guess not. I talked to my dad and Spring river and Center creek in Jasper County are high and muddy. wily Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 i put-in at martins landing saturday evening and it was muddy all the way past shangri-la...if i would have known it was so muddy i would have trl'd the boat further down the lake. i caught very few fish (zero black bass and a couple white bass), and the white bass i caught were very shallow.
Members Paddlefish Posted June 5, 2007 Members Posted June 5, 2007 I drove over the Neosho today near Miami and it was high & muddy, I'm sure Spring River is in the same condition. I'd say the top end of Grand is pretty muddy? You might be ok from about Shangri-La down to the dam.
