Vanish for tippet material

I'm still trying to figure why something billed at 2lb is actually so much stronger. Can't see the logic, but if it works for you go for it LOl

I still don't like the original flouro carbon's, like Vanish, as much as the new ones. For a given thickness they are weaker than the super flourocarbon (and weaker than same diameter mono)

As for pigtails/kinks in tippet I have a solution stop tying that crappy improved clinch LOl. Friction when you set the knot always kinks. Use a Davy knot or the knot I mentioned earlier the Eugene bend ( there is a link on the earlier post)

Finally for those that want a better deal on Flouroflex plus we are now carrying the 110y spools in 6x only at this stage (if there is enough demand for 7x we will go for it) $31.95 _ so you save about $15 over buying the same amount in small spools
