Deck Boards?

Wanting to build another Deck Covered.

Have always used .75 inch Boards for the floor but this time decided to use 2 inch. Our Son says this is overkill.

Another thing is Screws hold well and are easier to pull out if needed but I have a Framing Nailer which is much faster.

Thoughts?

I normally use the 5/4 Radius Edge decking.  If for some reason your joists are 24 inch on center I would use 2x6s but otherwise the 5/4 is made for that.  Having said that sometimes strange things happen lie someone has access to 1000 lf of free 2x8 or something, if I had that I would certainly use it.  Otherwise treated decking is fine.
