New Boat Help!

I'm considering a new boat and would like a bit of help.

Questions:

1. Does anyone on OAF have a Ranger 212LS - if so I sure would like to talk off line.
2. What might one expect or what has been your experience in discount (%) off of MSRP on a new boat?
3. What is the best hull color relative to fishing?  I've think I read somewhere that fish can be spooked looking up at the boat, don't recall if it's dark or light colors or if it is a wife's tall.

Hi Bobby, I just ordered a new 620FS and have been working this deal for three years. I have seen 620's 10 to 15 K off MSRP the first week of August the last two years and only for those in stock. When it was my time to order it thought for sure I'd get a similar deal, NOPE. ZERO off MSRP as Ranger controls the prices (I'm told and seems to be true) to keep competition fare between all dealers. Only discount is the special offers from Ranger that are listed on the website.

Also expect a 10+ week delivery. I ordered mine on Jan. 24 and current completion date is April 3, but was told to expect that to change. My vacation starts May 1st in Shell Knob so hope we have it by then.

I bought a 1850MS last year and took delivery in July.  Took about 4 months most of that was waiting for the motor.  Idle Time is right about the MAP pricing.  Best deal is to look for incentives from Ranger and dealer.

dont know about the bottom color. Been told and read that black is best, but certainly couldn't prove it. Mine is black but I'm way up the Kings and don't want to deal with the stain or mud line on a white bottom
