You might try Sport Boats USA at CC hwy north of Ozark. Pat and John are both good wrench turners.

Center city marine in Springfield has always treated me right. They are good people. Here is their link. http://www.centercitymarine.com/

Bruce and Rodney at Tangoras marine got my vote (nixa), but if you have warranty probably doesn't matter. Ulrich might work for you?

Suggest you check first wherever you decide to go and see if they have necessary equipment and training to work on Optimax. Not every Merc shop has the capability.

There is a special diagnostics software program made by Mercury for the Optimax. The lead mechanic from Waymack Marine in Springdale showed me it when he serviced my boat last fall. It's amazing the information that he can see. Everything short of where I went and how few fish I caught. If the mechanic doesn't have this equipment I wouldn't let him work on my Optimax. It's a pretty sophisticated motor.

Waymack refered me to Tracker Service in Branson for local service. Wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I spoke with Clay Newkirk at the shop and he seemed to say all the right things.
