Gumboot Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 There's been much discussion on the Table Rock thread concerning COE discharge guidelines for a particular lake. But, being in the grain business, and shipping barges for many years, I realize there are many variables....least of which is how your lake is fishing at any particular time. LOZ excluded, as I'm not sure they play by the same rules, and I don't want to piss off wrench before he works on my old tohatsu... Discharge seems to be a moving target, but it sure is fun to type about. Last 4high water years should produce some really nice year class fish, in all categories, except hopefully those toothy fish I lost 3 McSticks to last year. They like them right now, if any one is interested. From what I hear they eat really well if you know how to clean them. Take em all.
MOPanfisher Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 High wate sprigs always make for good spawns. Most of the area lakes habe a fabulous population of crappie right now. As for them toothy critters, well me and them have a love/hate relationship, they love to take my shad raps and I hate it when they do.
oneshot 1 Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 I went over the Osage below Bagnel Dam and it was running full. Which will make it good for Snaggers. oneshot
