Will we be able to camp on a gravel bar at night or is this regulated by ONSR too?

They have shut off gravel bar camping on ONSR. there are a lot of private gravel bars on the upper Current but you have to know which ones and the rangers wont know.

If they are private gravel bars, you would need permission from owners to camp I would think.  Most private property on 11 PT is marked as private with access easement. But no public camping as far as I know.

According to MO case law, you can use any gravel bar.  Every gravel bar on every stream except the ONSR and Eleven Point is private.  But the public has an easement to use any of them.

You need no permission to camp on gravel bars in MO, but ONSR is shut down to camping and they might give you a ticket. We had 5-6 days planned for a turkey trout trip this week but canxed it. Upper Meramec might be viable, lots of rain in the forecast though. Hope not a flood year. Very little fishing last year.
