Members dbow Posted May 18, 2020 Members Posted May 18, 2020 I've been out everyday and really starting to enjoy Stockton lake. The crappie are scattered, smaller ones are in schools. I've caught a couple walleye on spinners, and one with a crappie jig at 25 ft. The big crappie I've caught were deep, 20-25 ft. Smaller fish were schooled up like you would typically see then on brush piles. Interesting lake. Minnows are king. If you haven't tried G Sauce from crappie.com that works very well too. Gold and white jigs today with white tubes and chartreuse tubes. I had no idea that you can download a map with locations of structures. Wow that makes it easy. Roll up, SI/DI, throw some markers and fish. Move on after no bites. The outsides of structures is where I caught the bigger crappie. Biggest one was a little over 13". I saw sunfish by where I caught some walleye in the shallows. Never saw bluegills here before. Johnsfolly, liphunter, Old dog 417 and 1 other 4
