Maverickpro201
Can Anybody tell me the lake conditions? I know the lake is 6 to 7' high. But what is the lake look like as far as clarity? Is it muddy, dingy, or clearing any? I am thinking about going up next week after the crazies leave on Monday or Tuesday and it quiets down. Thanks,
dave potts
If the crappie are on the banks (and they should be next week) it will still be crowded. I can almost guarantee you it will be muddy. Rain is forecast for the next week or so. See southforkresort.org for up to date info on the lake conditions.
PAT92B
I went yesterday the water was muddy from the darn area to around the Robert Allen ramp water temps from 62 to 66 the warmer water was on the north side of the lake in little Indian creek. Sounded to me the crappie were on the banks then moved off mid last week I did see people catching them in the timber. I bass fished from 6am to 11am caught 6 mostly small bass tight to the bank one on a buzzbait the others on a swim jig. The boat ramp was crazy when I took out. Maverickpro201
Any new news for the lake as far as condition and water clarity?
45acp
The rivers are all a wreck right now, so I'm thinking I'll take the Mrs. up there tomorrow afternoon. Will depend on the weather conditions. After the rains last night there's no doubt that the water will be muddy. If I wind up going I'll report back after I get home.
