Two more feet and the Bull will be full.

Yep, 693' according to KY3 News tonight.  That's 40 FEET above what I used to consider the old "normal" of 653'.

They're hurting that area by letting Bull Shoals' water get so high year after year.  I live in Ozark and I recently had a chance to buy a weekend cabin with dock privileges near Pro Tem.  That's an area of the lake I used to love and our family has always wanted a place there.  Not anymore - I didn't even go look at it.

I can't catch anything if the fish are out in the woods somewhere.  These last few high-water years we've been going to Stockton and Tablerock instead of Bull Shoals.

The "Old" normal was 654 ft-MSL. It already to 694 ft-MSL, this morning. It is still going to take a several inch rain to get it to 695 as that one foot difference is 4% of the total flood storage.

Beaver is holding but supposed to get 2 inches today.  TR 1 inch.  That might put both lakes into their flood pools and they'll have to release.  Unless they decide to let them go higher.  It's hard to say anymore.

Newport is up again.

Beaver and Table Rock opening spillways tomorrow. Floodgates to be opened Wednesday on Bull Shoals and Norfork will increase spillway release also on Wednesday.  We are about to see a lot of water downstream and significant flooding if we get significant rain. I may be hauling all my gear to the top of the mountain tomorrow. This just stinks.
