Members Mark Tucker Posted June 11, 2020 Members Posted June 11, 2020 Fished directly out from the cabin this morning and caught two. The cove is the first one towards the dam after Starkey. Lots of guides and boats. I was trolling 6” swim Shads on leadcore, and a flicker Shad and a Rat-L-Trap on planet boards. Both fish bit on the planet boards. A 5 lber hit the Rat-L-Trap so hard he knocked the planer board off. Didn’t see anyone else catch a fish until around 9:30am. Shad got stacked up in the back of the cove and the striper followed. Some of the guides caught a few then. Shut off shortly after. Quillback 1
Members Mark Tucker Posted June 12, 2020 Author Members Posted June 12, 2020 Day 2 had no luck. The guides caught one or two but a very slow day overall.
Members McguirePat Posted June 12, 2020 Members Posted June 12, 2020 No surface activity around Rocky Branch that I saw this morning. Resorted to short spots on a ned rig.
Members McguirePat Posted June 15, 2020 Members Posted June 15, 2020 Scattered action across from rocky branch this morning. Broke off the only bite I got. Chased them around for about an hour lots of fun. Need to get me an Evergreen
