gonefishin Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 And those magic trees full of 4 lbs KYs........ Or better yet those 1.5 lb 'gills .............. I would rather be fishin'. captmac Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 There is one of those fire breathing devils living in Big Creek have seen gills under the dock die of a heart attack when he fires it up To have a true friend is wonderful, to have a true friend who fishes with you....... priceless
jcoberley Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 New saying. Hell No Big Don't Go! Hell No Big Don't Go! Hell No Big Don't Go! Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
Bill P Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I believe if someone intentionally buzzes me,and flips me off,I'd have to follow and 'meet' him. At the least, find out where he's docked......

Boaters are good about it especially to bank fishermen. I guess they figure bank fishermen are a non-threat target since we can't give pursuit. I was fishing at Rockaway Beach fishing dock when a boat came by the dock so close he tangled everyones lines, made a heck of a mess. I mean he wasn't 5 feet from the dock and running flat out. I wonder how hard mono is on the lower unit of an outboard. Another time a high powered boat got right in front of the dock and threw the biggest wakes possible for about 20 minutes. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759

Oh, I would have loved to. But not with two Grandkids in the boat. One 11 and the other 6. Smith & Wesson did come to my immdiate mind though.....
jcoberley Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 GF, I know that a few bad ones spoil it for a lot of good people. I just wish a lot more people would gain some respect for other people. I don't know why in the last 30 or 40 years we have turned in to a non caring poeple. I think there is a place for big boats but its not up in the shallows or neat the docks and making huge wakes just to piss off the bank or small boat people. (Hummm I think we have hashed this before) LOL Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
Gary Lange Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 It is really quite simple. The people that have the money to buy these monster Boats got that money by being disrespectful and using every dirty trick they could think of to get ahead. They didn't care about there fellow man on the way up and they sure don't care about him out on the water. We just need a Submarine with about 10,000 Torpedo's. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
