Rusty Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Hey Jeremy, The outhouses at Taney are a heck of a lot better than the one's at the Beaver Tailwater. Last year you couldn't even use them they were so rank.
brownieman Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I hope they (MDC) does start stocking bigger and better fish. I have heard it rumored that we fishermen are paying for a upgrade that has nothing to do with fishing but rather it has everything to do with selling fish to other states and to the food industry. Wonder if there is any truth to this. Just ask the MDC...they will probably tell you what they think you want to hear... By the way those brownie steps or whatever are the most un-natural looking eye sores...couldn't they use stone or something more natural looking? Not that they can't afford it ! Bet it would knock your socks off to know how many tax dollars that's costing us...oh well...high profile area, keep up the good work, lol There will be many erosion problems I bet...don't think the educated idiots have thought this one out very well...could be wrong, time will tell. My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? Avatar...mister brownie bm <><
Don Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Dang... they still haven't got my reserved spot designation monument in place at the bottom of that new chute... I can't believe you haven't found yours yet. I wonder why I found mine taped to the side of the porta-potty. Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.

The cost is extremely high. People just have not figured it out yet. How much of the 1/8th cent tax are they spending on this? They cut trout limits by 20% and raised license fees buy (how much) to pay for maintenance and updating infrastructure that has been paid for many, many, many times by the public. The costs for this update is in the billions; it is just hidden. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
