GF,

While those fumes are toxic, in many cases it is the lack of oxygen and burning of the lung tissue from the heat of the smoke that causes death... wood, charcoal, or whatever.

You got me there but, I hope he isnt worried about it because he is sticking his head in the grill  Maybe you were on to something when you mentioned the special oregano. :=D:

:bingo: Yeah but you can always spot the drivers who are bbq'ing behind the wheel from all of the smoke coming out of the windows. Gives you time to get out of their way. :D: :D

I would rather be fishin'.

Sometimes all that smoke is from that "oregano"...

I just hope he doesn't spill a drop of A1 Sauce on the grill... (If you haven't seen the commercial, you won't get that joke...)

not making light of this, but it CAN kill ya!

Brad Delp, the lead singer for the band Boston who killed himself last week, left behind a note in which he called himself "a lonely soul," according to police reports released Thursday.

The note was paper-clipped to the neck of Delp's shirt when police found his body at his Atkinson home, on the bathroom floor, his head on a pillow. He had sealed himself inside with two charcoal grills; toxicology tests showed he had committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning

:yellowcard: Yea, but I don't think he was sitting in his yard watching the purple martins and typing on his laptop while grilling chicken wings when he died. :goodjob:

Yep, doesn't sound like he was too happy.

I hope the press did not see that article, the deadly grills will be outlawed.

Who remembers the band "Boston"? Me. Dam I am getting old.
