Members d-hawkins Posted July 6, 2007 Members Posted July 6, 2007 MObass, You need to go further back into Bull Creek. When I go up Bull Creek I usually start at the island and work my way further up the creek. However, I have also been just as successful out on the main lake. There are some nice Bass in Taneycomo. I have also done well down close to Powersite Dam. Dan
Trav Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Key to finding bass on Taneycomo. Look for shelves that that step ladder. Fish each level horizontally until you find thier depth. Then stick to that depth for the rest of the day no matter where on the lake you go. Its not fool proof but it is steadfast. Not to mention tried and tested by yours truly....smile. taxidermist Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Roark and Bull Creek. I have fished each twice and caught several bass one almost 4 pounds. I have seen others catch some larger bass in Bull Creek. Bull has lots of big lipped bass too.
Trav Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Lots of big bucket mouths down near powersite dam as well. Have caught dozens of them in the 4 to 6 range. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
