What a difference...

From me catching 17 with 5 keepers on Tuesday to two of us only catching 9 with 2 keepers Friday evening just boggles my mind, but then again as one of my old buds used to say, “They ain’t tied up.  They can go where ever they want to”.

Thats the kind of day we had on Pomme for our tournament. Caught good fish prefishing, but Saturday they were gone.

Well, at that point i had had it a few weeks, so wasn’t very new. 😁

 

Fished out of Masters this morning as the sun started coming up. Caught a 2lb’er on my first cast, which is a bad omen i heard, but they kept biting until i left at 11:30. Caught fish on a wacky in the timber, a few on a lipless out in the open, some on a wart. Today was throw everything just to see what would get bit.

I’m chomping at the bit to get back down there but looking at 2 miles of fence before I can.

I know that part of life all to well. Im going back for a few hours in the morning, then hope to clear some brush.
