Quillback Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Walking across the top of one of the dams on a local lake, dam runs east-west, had a pretty stiff wind blowing out of the west/northwest, probably 20 MPH or so. Saw maybe 8 or 9 monarchs come over the dam from the north and then fly south directly across the lake. You wonder how they can fly across a 20 MPH wind and hold a straight course but they do. scifi, FishnDave, watermen2 and 1 other 4
