Dutch Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 I have to go with Dave. I have experimented with several line types and sizes. I have moved all of my dead stick Ned setups to 6# fluorocarbon line. I have caught smalljaws to 4# and greenies over 6# on it. It gets me way more bites than the other stuff. When I swim them I get by with 6# mono.
Members Patlock Posted October 19, 2020 Members Posted October 19, 2020 I've been using BPS 6# fluorocarbon, maybe that's where I went wrong🤔. I have another spinning reel that I have BPS 8# braid on it. I noticed that line doesn't seem to stay "braided" very well.
