2/4/06 - O/A Lake Taneycomo River Clean Up

Im planning on be there...

but like Tippet... only for a couple of hours....Im may try to get there around 10:30 or so.. so I can get some time in.. I start up around chute 1.. for all who is going to get there early..

Who has a truck?? other side of the dam.. in those 2 parking lots... I saw a couple bags of trash and a old car battery.. momma would shoot me if I put that in her van!!

Six hearty OAF members showed up to pick up trash at the dam at noon. The temp's not bad but the wind has picked up and it's brisk! They are scowering the banks for treasures and finding lots.

It was a pleasure putting faces to names today. I sure enjoyed meeting all of you. Hope we can make this an annual event at least.

It was really great meeting everyone today...

and the fishing wasnt bad either...hehehe

I caught 3 the was over 17in.. totaling out to about 15 fish on a white sculpin..

Just got home from the weekend. It was good meeting everyone at the clean-up and now I can put some faces with the names. Maybe we can meet up for some fishing when the weather gets a little better.
