Leonard Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Im planning on be there... but like Tippet... only for a couple of hours....Im may try to get there around 10:30 or so.. so I can get some time in.. I start up around chute 1.. for all who is going to get there early.. Who has a truck?? other side of the dam.. in those 2 parking lots... I saw a couple bags of trash and a old car battery.. momma would shoot me if I put that in her van!! http://www.taneycomonights.com
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 4, 2006 Root Admin Posted February 4, 2006 Six hearty OAF members showed up to pick up trash at the dam at noon. The temp's not bad but the wind has picked up and it's brisk! They are scowering the banks for treasures and finding lots. Thanks to Brian Shaffer for organizing the event! And thanks to Eric Willis and Dynamic Printing for making the fantastic sign and banner for us!!
Danoinark Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 It was a pleasure putting faces to names today. I sure enjoyed meeting all of you. Hope we can make this an annual event at least. Phil, thanks again for providing a forum where people can share their experiences, gain new insights and offer their knowledge. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"

Kansas Fly Fisher Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Just got home from the weekend. It was good meeting everyone at the clean-up and now I can put some faces with the names. Maybe we can meet up for some fishing when the weather gets a little better. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
