They're taking one of the bridges out at this exchange so if you're planning a trip to Branson, take another route. Traffic is supposed to be backed up for miles. If you're coming from the west, take James River Express, highway 60 and loop south of Springfield. Not sure about people from the east... but I'd avoid this intersection at all costs. Driving 20-30 miles out of the way is much better than sitting in traffic for 2-3 hours.

From the east, you can take the Hwy B exit (exit 96) and take Hwy B south, or go on to Strafford and take exit 88 and get on 125 south. Both will take you to Hwy 60. Go west on 60 to the 60/65 interchange. I would bet the Strafford exit will be a bit crowded, but still better than going on to the 65/I-44 interchange.

The exit for Division is also closed for North bound traffic. It looks like that is part of the detour. Kearney will be closed also but was open as of 8:30A Saturday morning. Watch your speed because the five o is out in force.
