Should any of you be so u fortunate as to have a case head completely separate upon firing leaving the body of the case stuck in the chamber I learned a great trick.  Wish I had learned it 3 months ago, that's how long i have been trying and failing to remove a stuck case body from a Ruger 77/22H .22 Hornet.  Took 2 days for the box to get here from Midway, 15 minutes to get everything set up, a couple hours to get up the nerve and maybe 5 minutes to melt, pour and knock it out.  Tomorrow will see how much damage I did to the chamber trying to get it out before this.

Stuck cases are a bithc.  Sometimes you can knock them out with a cleaning rod.  If not, gotta go the hard way like you did.

 I admit I was sceptical of using the  casting allloy, ole Larry Potterfield made it look way too easy in his video.  But he was right, if ever have it happen again I will use it.
