Fished from 1pm to 4pm. Fish bit good on white G-bugs, white thread jigs, white jigs, and a brown globall.

Only landed one fish though.

They weren't biting very aggresively at all. I hooked a lot of fish that I just "rolled" and then they came off. It was frustrating but the weather was gorgeous and I had a great time.

I would of just had to throw them back anyhow :P

I seen the most fish in the long stretch below the pond hole and just above where that big log or w/e goes across the stream before it bend to the right.

The bathroom hole had quite a few fish in it also.

I only seen one other guy catch a fish while I was down there.

Fished today as well. Drove down from STL and arrived at the park around 8am and fished until about 1:30. It started off slow for my buddy and I but then really picked up for us. I don't think it ever got in the high 40s like the forecast stated.

Seth - You had mentioned the bathroom hole. That is one of two spots we had some good action. I fished the shallow water just above the rapids. I was using a #16 beadhead pheasant tail on 7x tippet. Caught about a half dozen fish before 4 guys crossed the river and were in my jock. I couldn't believe how rude and ignorant they were? I believe the key to picking up fish here was setting the indicator at the right depth. Because it was relatively shallow, I set a small white indicator about 2ft. Didn't have to use split shot because I had a bead head nymph. Had a good, short, drag free float and the fish cooperated for a change.

We then fished the fast water right below the cable and the top of the park using the same set up. We both caught another six or so in that stretch of water. I was very surprised.

Overall, had a good day fishing. It was nice to be on the water with friends.

Yes, I know what you mean by RUDE people down there. Once March 1st gets here, there will be a whole lot more of them down there too.

I fished the park on Friday 1/20 from about 10 AM - 1 PM. Had no luck for about the first hour and threw just about everything at them. Moved up to the pot hole and ran into a nice fellow who started hooking them on yellow glo balls. Tied one on and caught several fish. Eventually the glo ball stopped working and I switched to a red/gold beadhead midge and did okay for awhile drifting it under a indicator about three feet deep. One hit it so hard it broke me off before I could even set the hook. Not a bad day all in all.
