Linc and I wondered out on the lake about 7 pm this evening. Boated up to just past Lookout Island and fished along the right shore above the pool below the slew. It's a good spot to dry fly/dropper fish to rainbows holding just outside the current. Linc caught a half dozen, mostly on his #18 black zebra dropper but caught one on his dry indicator, a #10 stimulator. he'd done well this am just down from #3 on the same rig, landing a couple dozen rainbows on mainly the dry.

Moved down to the island where we saw lots of fish in the eddie. He caught another 6 or so- I was playing guide and "letting" him catch all the fish. Then we drifted down the bluff bank- the water had dropped out alot and it was decent water to try a dry under the trees. He hooked another and I said, It's time to catch some "real" fish. I picked up my spin rod and a 1/16th oz white jig and caught 4-5 rainbows and then this nice brown at the narrow channel. It was just 20 inches.

Phil, Is Lincoln in town for a while or was it just last week? I enjoyed the last 2 summers fishing with him. Dave
