I took my cousin youth hunting this weekend and invited some friends with kids that were eager to chase some turkeys. Saturday we spent most of the day drenched in rain, trudging through the woods. After the storms past, we loaded up the boat to see if the walleye were biting for the last 2 hours of the day. It was these kids first time walleye fishing and I was hoping we could at least boat one fish. Considering it had rained for the past 12 hours I was slightly pessimistic.  It turned into a great night with us boating 15-20 walleye with 7 nice keepers. Sunday the turkey were firing off in every direction. We got on several turkey and closed the deal at 930 am with a triple bearded giant. It was a great weekend for the kids and I'm hoping I got them hooked on walleye and turkey for the rest of their lives.

BB and worm 14-16ft. Didn't get a weight but it was one of the biggest I've seen killed.
