oneshot Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 Spent $5,000 having thin Reflective Insulation put in our attic. We feel it works good. But yesterday found the same stuff could have put it in ourselves for $1,600. Was reading on it. Putting it over regular insulation it raises R-13 to R-14 but just using two layers of it has R-21 rating. Put it between Rafters and then just over them is the best. Helps with the Air Space. Oh well too late now. oneshot
