Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 17, 2007 Root Admin Posted July 17, 2007 Got this email from a guy who has a fly fishing service out of Aruba. Here's his site. http://www.flyfishingaruba.com/index1.html Interesting thing is they take fly fishing equipment for payment for their trips. May be we can take a group down there someday.
Flysmallie Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 May be we can take a group down there someday. I saw a shark, I'm in. Catching a shark on a fly rod is something I must do before my time is up.
timsfly Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 My wife and I were in aruba a few years ago, I took a fly rod and fished around the beach were we were staying, I caught a few fish, but didn't know exactly what species they were, we did go to a place called baby beach, and saw a few bonefish, but they were few and far between, but there were plenty of sharks out in the deeper water. And take a 9wt or heavier if you go, the wind never stops blowing over there. I don't think I would go there just for the fishing, but it is a nice little Island country. Terry Beeson Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Hmmmm... Carribbean island... beaches... and I could fish... I think I could talk Cindy into that one!!!! Hey, Ronnie... That one is on my list, too. Got a friend down in Jonesboro who has done quite a bit of shark fishing and from his tales, it's GOT to be a lot of fun...
