olfishead Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I'll try to post again as soon as it is open. Sam 1
olfishead Posted July 11, 2021 Author Posted July 11, 2021 Well, I guess the pattern is that the ramp is open on weekends and closed during the week. But, that is just speculation! To be sure call the COE office in Stockton. 417 276 3113 nhornback and Sam 1 1

I added that COE number to my contacts and I'll use it to call. We've been launching at North Mutton Creek about once a week, and I like that ramp a lot. I'm kind of glad the south Mutton Creek ramp went private and started charging, which made us start using the north ramp. At both those ramps plus the one at Roark Bluff, though, I always give a thought to the knucklehead who thought it was a fine idea to put concrete curbs between launch lanes. Kind of like snakes, I don't have any trouble with the ones I can see - but those curbs do go underwater sometimes. LOL
jdmidwest Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 What is the idea of the concrete curbs anyway. Masters had them also. Some idiot at MODOT go designing boat ramps also? "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
