Found a link to this story at abc news...talks about the Sturgeons leaping from the Suwanee river system in northern FL. Some serious injuries from these crazy fish. Something to consider when it involves spoonies...

I think they're just tired of being wet all the time and need to feel dry for a moment. Kinda like how it feels so good for us to take a dip in the creek on a hot summers day. :lol:
