WAS AT THE DAM FRIDAY AND HAD A HARD TIME. GOT THERE ABOUT 1:00 TOOK MY DAUTHER WHEN WE GOT THERE SOME PEOPLE WERE CATHCING WHITES ON ROOSTERTAILS. MADE A TRIP TO BUY HER SOME. ME I DONT LIKE TO FISH WITH THE IDIOT BAIT SO I USED SLIDERS AND SWIMMING MINNOWS. WE FISHED FORE ABOUT AN HOUR NOTHING. LEFT AND I CAME BACK AROUND 5:00 DIFFERENT BUNCH OF PEOPLE SAME THING CATCHING THEM ON ROOSTERTAILS. I COULDNT STAND IT ANYMORE SO I TIED ONE ON. SAME RESULT NO FISH. DID ASK THEM AND THEY WERE THROWING 1/4 AND I HAD BOUGHT 1/8 DONT KNOW IF THAT WAS IT OR IT WASNT MEANT TO BE. JUST BEFORE DARK WALKED UP CLOSER TO THE DAM AND ONE FELLOW WAS CATCHING BLUE CATS ON WHAT LOOKED LIKE A ROOSTERTAIL. HE SAID THEY WERE BUSTING ON TOP LIKE WHITES. I DIDNT KNOW CATS WOULD DO THIS BUT DID SEE IT HAPPEN. I CAUGHT 2 OR 3 SMALL ONES. WHEN THE BIG ONE HIT. I FOUGHT IT FORE ABOUT 20 MINUTES FINALLY PLAYD IT OUT AND IT CAME IN. WHAT A SURPRISE A 5 FOOT GAR IN THE TAIL! BOY WAS I DEPREASED KEEPT FISHING AND CATCHING SMALL BLUES NONE BIG ENOUGH. HAD ENOUGH ABOUT 11:00 AND CALLED IT A NIGHT. STILL ALOT OF WATER COMING THREW THE DAM. MAYBE NEXT TIME. SLIDER

I was there Saturday just looking things over.One Guy was throwing Jigs for Crappie,he said Friday he did good,but wasn't having much luck Saturday.

Friend was down there talked to him and he said they was catching Whites on Spoons.He said Friday they was pilling the Fish up,had so many people there couldn't get down to the water.
