Randall Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I am curious why you would gut and skin a trout before you fillet'd it, doesn't that double the work with the same end product............Im just wondering....Please explain and I might learn something new about cleaning a trout. Thanks i was thinking the same thing, but if a person isn't really good att filleting, gutting them first might make it easier cut the meat out without making a huge mess. Cute animals taste better.
