Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 27, 2007 Root Admin Posted July 27, 2007 Anyone use this? Caleb, our #1 son, just left Rwanda today but while he was there we talked often using this service. It's free as long as it's used by Skype members, which is free. Does video too, which we took advantage of. Conference calls up to 9 people.
mhall02 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Yeah, we use Skype. The owner of our company is in Italy and it works great. We don't use the video feed, but the audio is really good, he has a laptop and a headseat and we have a desktop, speakers, and a regular microphone.
strangercreek Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 definitely a good system, I have several clients that use it
Members roundtrout Posted July 27, 2007 Members Posted July 27, 2007 I have subcontractors in South America and customers in the middle east that I use to stay in touch with on Skype. Amazed at the clarity of the calls! I can hear the folks on the other end rustling papers at their desk while we're talking. Haven't used the video feed either, though. Bob
WebFreeman Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Sounds neat. How's the fishing in Rwanda? “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
