Members Wanderer Posted March 1, 2022 Members Posted March 1, 2022 Hey y'all, Just discovered this site not too long ago and have been browsing a few threads. A couple questions.. I'm curious about getting into wading/floating and bowfishing for some rough fish, suckers and the like. I forget exactly which thread it was, but I recall someone had mentioned a private access point that they had permission to use off of Raccoon Road. I am a bit confused, as I looked at the map and the road doesn't appear to go anywhere near all the way to the creek. Unless the map is wrong which is certainly possible. And, of course, I was wondering what the rough fish population of upper shoal Creek (that area and up) is like, if there is one? Suckers, Carp, anything you can legally take via archery methods. Thanks everyone!

It may be that no one knows the answers to your inquiries. I know I don't. I could guess, but why? My suggestion is to contact the fishery biologist in the Neosho MDC office and see if he can help with the species of fish found there. I was going to give you link to the watershed inventory that covers that stream but MDC has that link messed up. waterpossum 1

I guess I would have thought that someone would have acknowledged it's existence even if they weren't able to help at the time. Fair point. Thank you, I appreciate the response and input. waterpossum and tjm 2
