Members frenchbritt Posted March 3, 2022 Members Posted March 3, 2022 I have a Garmin 93SV UHD I am installing. What is the best angle for the transducer. I have watched videos to set the angle for idleing and I have seen a video with a more downward angle for reading at speed. What is the best way and is there any difference in resolution? Thanks for the advice.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 I mounted mine level for idling, i also mounted it high so it cant read at speed, ive never seen the use as i know the areas pretty well where i go already. i think the only way to go for reading at speed would be a through hull style.
