jdmidwest Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 I have at my disposal many handguns, all keep growing in value. Or some just don't shoot that well. Working on the tractor at the farm, I need a fast sidearm to handle things that may need shooting as I do my brush hogging or whatever. 22 lr is the best choice usually. There have been times an AR would be choice. But the thought in my head is whatever I have may get knocked off and run thru the chopping blades or under the tires. And the dust, seeds, and other crap I stir up tends to choke things down. I walked into our new Rural King back in May on a Monday after work and found this for about $249.00. Keltec P 17. Mostly plastic except for a portion of the slide and fire control and the spring in the mag. Fiber optic adjustable sights. 3 16 round mags in the box, all controls work right or left handed. Just in case I need to shoot left handed. And it weighs next to nothing and is a full size handgun. Targets at 15', off handed. MOPanfisher Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Nice. Many times I have considered carrying while brush hogging. In the 2nd I know I am a bad enough pistol shot that it just isn't worth it for me. But dang sometimes I wish I had my Ruger Wrangler with me.
