kjackson Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 I'm going to cover the tournament for the Clinton paper and may spin off ideas to another market. I'd like to talk to a local fisherman who will be competing. Ideally, the person would be a resident of Henry County, but Benton County would work. Appreciate any help.
kjackson Posted September 18, 2022 Author Posted September 18, 2022 That was interesting. The tournament was won by Hunter Baughman from Judsonia, Ark. Winning weight was 48-10. What is amazing is the man-- he has no legs and only one hand--and that with only three fingers. Watched him fish on the water a bit, and he had the process down, but of course, he would considering that he is a full-time pro. If you want more info on Hunter, he's on facebook. Second place was Brad Jelinek from Lincoln with 47-0. Got to ride in Gator Trax aluminum hull power by a 325...very impressive boat with a ride that rivaled glass hulls.

I got to fully rig a new Gator Trax in 2020, very cool boat. Solid! Individually built as I understand, no two boats are alike. You order it to your specifications, put up a down payment, and within 2 months it's ready for pickup.
