Trolling motor question

Minn Kota is usually pretty good about supporting their products, but the older Powerdrive (not the V2) foot pedals are notoriously crappy, no longer made, and next to impossible to find. Same with the parts to convert it to remote. So if you go shopping for used motors, avoid them.

Yes mine still works well, I have never linked it to my lowrance and I do not care for the foot pedal, if you are busting banks the foot pedal sucks, but for off shore fishing it works well. 

I have owned mine 6 years.

If it had a decent foot pedal and a dual imaging transducer it would be perfect.

It is an 80lb thrust on a 2004 deep V 17

I don't think any of the electric steer trolling motors are good for bank beating. They aren't responsive enough. 

An Ultrex or the new Garmin give the best of both worlds but they aren't cheap.
