Last nights fihing report

After looking into my crysatl ball and determining that they were going to shut the water off at 9:30 we headed down about 9. Since the MDC was down on Monday night we stayed above the rebar. In my oppinion I think that the shocking of fish makes them a little sluggish for a few days after.

Nick and I started between outlet one and two in on the flat and and worked our way up to the cable then back. We had a great night I brought 34 fish to hand and had over 50 fish on. Nick was not so fortunate, being this was his first time this year down there he had a little trouble with hookups. He would finally get his first one then it was on.

He said that he had 16 and had probally 25 fish on the one that would count would come at about 1am. It was a pig a nice 23inch Brown. For needing to go home at midnight the both of us were glad we had no idea what time it was.

As we left there were a couple of guys that were in the parking lot that said it was 2:15 Nick basically ran to the truck and that was it no more of the one more cast.

We cought most of our fish on some new two toned bunny leeches and mohair leeches. The colors that worked last night were a huge range from purple to white.

I am tying some Zonkers, larger streamers, Wooly buggers and other experminents to try some night next week. I will be in Branson for a week 25-31. If you hear a large splash after dark next week it will probally be me.

Oh I probally should mention.....It probly won't be me landing a pig but rather falling in. Bad Knees. I get around slowly and fall a lot but It is still fun.

Terry!

As a Mental Health Out Reach Worker, your symptoms are really nothing to worry about! I always say its a fine line and an active choice on my part as to what side of the desk to sit on when I go to work! The ones I worry most about are those who can not laugh or can't think out side the box!

Fish On!

P.S. Brownieman! is that a BH shroom?? Natural tan color or one of them fancy wired ones?
